Stash Busting Sunday: Picture Frame Hair Bow Holder

Last night we had friends over.. which meant that it was time to tame the chaos that has become my crafting supply area.  My supplies are seriously busting out from everywhere .. especially from under our side table in the dining room.  It is kinda embarrassing.  So I thought that Sunday would be a great time to do some serious stashbusting.    So up first is this cute
Picture Frame Hair bow holder!
And of course as always a fun tutorial in case you want to make one too!

Ingredients
Round picture frame
skin tone paint
1 skein yarn
ribbon
fabric
craft glue
small mirror

Start by painting your frame in your skin tone paint.

Then cut your yarn into the desired length.  I used the entire skein.

Next glue into the desired hair style on the frame and add the yarn one piece at a time.  Yes.. it is time consuming!

It should look like this when you are done.

I .like the hair to look full so I also glue yarn to the back of the frame to increase it's fullness.

Next glue your mirror into the frame.

Then cut your fabric into circles to make a flower for the hair.

Fold each circle in half and then in half again to make triangles.  Thne glue them together to make a flower.  Attach to the hair and embellish with a button.

Last braid the hair and tie with bow.  And now you have an adorable hair bow holder!
