Diaper Trike Revisited!

My most popular post EVER has been this diaper trike
It has been pinned a bunch of times and is the
#3 most viewed diaper trike on Google!  So amazing to me!
Anyhow.. another girlfriend asked me to make one for her friend so here is another one that I just finished today!
Thought I would share since I haven't had time to craft much else lately.. sick kids are not conducive to crafting!
But I promise if you stop by later this week.. I should have some fun Christmasy stuff for you!

For those of you who have been following for awhile now.. you have probably have guessed that I am a disorganized mess.
Yes, it is a talent I possess and try to work on constantly.  Well being disorganized me.. I lost my kids picture with Santa last year... but I finally found it!  Whoo hoo!
So here is what I made with it!
My first Christmas decoration of the season!
Easy, fun and a perfect display for the lost picture with Santa!

Upcycled Lampshade Mobile

I have a problem.  It is this sad little girl...
who comes home from school and finds mobiles hanging in her room that are NOT for her!  So I figured that it was about time to rectify this problem with a fun mobile just for my girl!
First I started with this lampshade that had been sitting in the basement collecting mold..
yuck!
Then I found a friend to help me tear it to shreds..
This guy is always a willing participant!
Next I cut fabric into strips.

Then I wrapped the lampshade skeleton with the fabric and ribbon.
Here is the wrapped lampshade.
Then I hand cut and punched scrapbook butterflies.
Last I glued it all together with nylon thread and tulle.
Now I have a happy girl
and a happy lampshade!
Oh.. okay.. one more shot!
P.S.  I made it to November's votation finals @

with my little Halloween House!
  Yay!
